FloatFest 2025 – Special Event Float

Join us for the first-ever FloatFest, hosted by Float the Fox in support of OpenCoast, a Wisconsin nonprofit expanding outdoor access through cleanups, youth programs, and wellness floats.

🗓 Event Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025
🕙 Float Window: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Check-In Location: Wilmot Canoe Launch, Wilmot, WI
💵 $35 per person (tube rental included – or bring your own, same price)
🎯 Proceeds support OpenCoast’s summer access programs

Start To Finish: Soooo simple! 
You’ll meet our team at the Wilmot Canoe Launch (30567 Wilmot Rd, Wilmot, WI 53192), park your car, check in, and board the shuttle. We’ll take you to the Fox River County Park Boat Landing (29875 Silver Lake Rd, Burlington, WI 53105), where you’ll begin your 3-mile float down the beautiful Fox River—ending right back where you parked.

Cancellations:
If we cancel due to weather/river conditions, you’ll receive a full refund and can rebook at your convenience.
If you can’t make it for any other reason, contact us at least 24 hours before your reservation.

No-Shows:
No refunds for no-shows.

Check-In:
Please arrive 15 minutes before your float time to check in.

Waiver:
All participants must read and agree to our waiver prior to booking. You’ll be required to acknowledge and accept the terms during checkout. This applies to you and anyone in your group.

Shuttle: Complimentary shuttle to the start point; float ends at your car.

Cooler Tubes:
We no longer offer cooler tubes. You can use your own or our standard tubes with a bungee setup.
Tip: A 17-gallon rope-handle tub fits our tubes perfectly!

If you bring your own cooler float, wait until you exit the shuttle to inflate it.

What to Bring:

• Swimsuit

• Water shoes or sneakers (required) – no flip flops

• Beverages (no glass)

• Snacks

• Sunscreen

• Cell phone in a dry bag

• Towel + change of clothes

• Waterproof speaker, squirt guns, float toys encouraged!

ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE RIVER
(21+ only, not allowed at pickup/drop spots)

FloatFest is within walking distance to downtown Wilmot. Check out local shops, restaurants, and bars before or after your float!
